Terms of Service

The short version

Site Audit Master is a site inspection tool. You use it to document issues, take photos, and generate reports. We provide the service, you own your data. Don't use it for anything illegal. Pay for what you use. That's the gist.

Accounts

You need an account to use the service. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure. One person per account — don't share credentials. If you need multiple users, use the team features.

Free tier and trial

New accounts start with a free tier. No credit card required. You can upgrade to continue using the web dashboard, cloud sync, and team features. The native mobile app continues to work standalone.

Payments

Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Mobile app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). You can cancel anytime from your account settings or the relevant app store. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis — just ask.

Your data

You own everything you put into the app — projects, issues, photos, reports. We don't claim any rights to your content. You can export your data at any time. If you delete your account, we delete your data.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to store or distribute illegal content. Don't try to break the service, access other users' data, or reverse-engineer the software. Don't automate access beyond the provided API. Standard stuff.

Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. The native apps work offline, so you're not blocked if the server is down. We'll let you know about planned maintenance in advance.

Liability

We provide the service "as is." We're not liable for data loss, though we take reasonable steps to prevent it (backups, encrypted storage). Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll email you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
